Led by interior designer Charles Mellersh, Studio Mellersh is a UK based interior design studio creating warm, modern, and emotive interiors that are characterised by strongly defined site specific narratives. Our work aims to enhance the human experience through design, a process underpinned by research and curiosity into how our clients wish to live and what matters most to them. Each project begins with a deep dive strategy process where we discuss our client’s needs and priorities, and how these might evolve over time. From there we produce concept presentations which are agreed before the design is finalised in a detailed design specification. Whilst we work on projects of varying scales and complexity, we find that our most successful projects are those where we undertake the design of an entire building, integrating the architecture with the interior design, furnishings, and a final styling layer. We offer procurement and a turnkey approach to project delivery

A modern hand mixes contemporary and custom-designed pieces with one-of-a-kind accessories and vintage objects, which combine to create compelling atmospheres that are reassuringly warm and layered with visual interest. The approach is client and site specific, ensuring that no two projects look or feel the same.
