Designed as a bolthole from business life in the City of London, this Notting Hill home required a complete gut renovation and an architectural rethink. Using pale colours and a robust palette of materials designed to age beautifully, the newly designed Charles Mellersh kitchen became the focal point of life for a young couple and their friends.
I loved that Charles background was in journalism. His knowledge and appreciation of design goes deep... he listened and never forced his ideas on me.
